Nothing leaves your phone
Sideline Coach has no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you plan stays on the device you planned it on.
Sideline Coach collects nothing. Your session plans, tactics and match notes are written to a database on your own phone and stay there. There is no account to create, no server to sync with, and no analytics.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter — session plans and their stations, tactics boards, match results and the notes you write about how a session or a match went — is saved in the app’s own storage on your device. Your team name and age group are kept in the app’s settings on the same device.
None of it is transmitted anywhere. The app makes no network requests, which is also why it works perfectly well at a pitch with no signal.
What the app does not do
- No account, sign-up or login.
- No analytics, crash reporting or usage measurement.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking, and nothing shared with any third party.
- No location data.
- No information about players or children — the app records tactics and sessions, not people.
Your information, and your control over it
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing held about you to request a copy of, correct, or ask to have deleted. Your data is on your phone, under your control. Deleting the app deletes it, and it is included in your device backup if you back your phone up.
Children
Sideline Coach is a tool for coaches. It is not directed at children, and it holds no personal information about the players a coach works with.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app sends anything off the device, this page will say so before that version is released, and the app’s App Store privacy details will be updated to match.
